The band, in a short while, was able to overcome twelve-hundred shows in years of being together in one soul and music. The band once toured with prominent musician such as George Thorogood, Needtobreathe, Sugarland, Hanson, O.A.R., Josh Ritter, Dar Williams, David Crosby, Martin Sexton. They also had a chance to perform with James Brown before his death. The band also participated in famous festivals such as 2006 Telluride BlueGrass Festival. 2008 Lyons Folk Festival, 2009 Mile High Festival, The 2007 All Good Festival. The Sixers also had an appearance on NPR’s Mountain Stage with Larry Groce.
Before the band went on a hiatus and got disbanded in autumn of 2012, they finished their fates together with a send-off called “The Hi-Ate-US Tour” which happened in the country on October 17 and November 24. Their last show was held at the Webster Hall in New York City. After the separation, Kellogg continued in his music and went on tours on December 2012 which soon made him release his first solo album in 2013 called Blunderstone Rookery. It was then followed by his second album in 2016 called South, West, North, East.
